The Social and Cultural Activities Department plans, organizes and communicates a diverse set of activities and social and cultural events that stand out for their attractiveness, their level of quality and excellence of its services.

It is a service area which aims to ensure our members, moments of pleasure, recreation, leisure and entertainment promoting culture in its various manifestations.
Psic. Jorgelina Bendersky and assistant Susana Fernández are the ones in charge of this area.

Some of these social and cultural activities are developed along the year:

Within this Group are:

a) The Culture Workshop :: an interactive instance for exhibition and dialogue, which traces the history of culture. The proposal is varied and includes the approach of literary Works; the Workshop is led by Prof. Rodolfo Fattoruso.
b) Happy Hours take place on Thursday nights and quite often include live music.
c) Events sponsored by Fundación Itaú are organized and coordinated by Club de Golf del Uruguay; together, they promote various shows of excellent quality and varied nature.

There are other activities which are frequently performed annually or biennially. These are events of great importance, impact and acceptance by the members and guests who attend.
